A message from Debbie McKinney, one of the “Bath Loves Boston” organizers:

I would like to share our appreciation to the following Bath Business Association members who have generously donated raffle prizes to my daughter’s “Bath Loves Boston” fundraising event, taking place June 26th at 6:30pm at Bath Church:

  • The Bake Shop in Ghent
  • CleverPup101 Family Dog Training
  • LaDaisy Boutique
  • Nannimals Animal Nannies
  • Precocious Dandelion
  • Western Reserve Playhouse

We would like to invite you to attend the event. Please see the postcard invitation attached. Additionally, we will be accepting donations through Tuesday, June 18th, should you wish to help support this event. A sponsor letter that Dana wrote, along with a donation form, is also attached.

Old Carolina Barbecue has donated pulled pork sandwiches, Main Street Gourmet (owned by Bath residents Steve & Jeannine Marks) has donated the desserts, and Tiffany Kert, Silpada Designs Jewelry (Bath resident) has donated the drinks. We are still looking for some cheese/cracker and veggie trays.

Additional support has been received from Gregg Mervis, President of the Akron/Summit Convention & Visitor’s Bureau, along with other friends and family members.

Dana has invited children from Revere Schools to be the models for the fashion show, ages 3 – 17 with lots of fun and surprises! Bath Church generously donated the use of their Fellowship Hall and two Revere graduates will be providing the music, Steven Troike and Adam Johnson. Anne Cannon, BeautiControl will be providing the model’s make-up. Bath Resident Karen Hernandez will be our emcee for the evening.

We have been fortunate to receive publicity from Bath Country Journal, West Side Leader, and Akron Beacon Journal. Additionally, Currents of Cleveland will be attending the event to cover it for their monthly newspaper.

All proceeds will go directly to the victims of the Boston Marathon bombing through the H.A.L.O. (Hope Always Lives On) Foundation, a 501c3 non-profit. Their website is www.halofoundation.com. They will also have representatives at the event. A video will be shown to highlight the foundation, their efforts, and why Dana chose this tragedy to support.

Please let me know if you have any questions, would like to make a donation, or attend the event. Thanks so much for helping support this event and promoting the wonderful people and businesses right here in Bath, Ohio!

Have a good day,
