Hooray for the Green School District for joining our 93 cents for Flight 93 campaign! Last Friday, May 22, 2015, 300 students from across the Eastern USA met in Shanksville PA at the Flight 93 National Memorial. Green Middle School was there to represent our great state of Ohio. They were joined by the Washington Latin School, in WA DC, and EL Haynes Charter Public School, also from WA DC. The National Parks Service gave a great program, and David and Peggy Beamer joined the group to talk about their son Todd Beamer, the Hero aboard Flight 93 who coined the phrase, “Lets Roll!” Pictures of this extraordinary event can be seen on our sister website, www.93centsforflight93.org.
