2013 has been a great year for the HALO Foundation, with many people and organizations impacted. It ranged from helping those effected by Hurricane Sandy by delivering 280 18-gallon totes, including notes of encouragement, to an extremely successful LEADR retreat.

In addition to our LEADR retreat, we also had our Women of Worth retreat. This had a great turnout, as did A Chorus for a Cause event, who had amazing performances both days.

We also helped raise money with our Wings of Charity Gala, with over 200 in attendance, and raised over $55,000! Thanks to our generous benefactors, many leaders got to see the memorial, some for the first time, on September 11. Those on the three buses were from from Northwest High School, Charlestown, and Tallmadge Lions Club.

The HALO Foundation would like to thank all its generous benefactors, including the young ladies of “Leaders Now International,” Boy Scout Troop 380, Jim and Marie Dettling, and Ruth Stimac, and many others, who wrapped gifts and helped with the “Gifts of Joy Christmas Drive,” and our many donors. With your help, we hope to make 2014 even better!
